Property Owner Notice-Upcoming Appraiser Visit
You will receive a yellow postcard from the Town of Cavendish notifying you when we anticipate the appraisers will be in your neighborhood.
The Town of Cavendish will begin its town‑wide reappraisal during the week of August 4, 2026, with initial fieldwork starting on Knapp Pond Road.
The postcard will include contact information for the Grand List Maintenance Office should you have any questions or need additional assistance.
Appraiser Visit Notification & Appraisal Access Instructions:
If you are not at home when the appraisers visit, they will leave a notification sticker on your door. This sticker will resemble the example shown and will include the Grand List Maintenance Office phone number, the website address, and a customized property code. You may use this code to access preliminary appraisal information for your property on the Town of Cavendish website.
